Kogi guber: Senator Aduda chairs PDP caretaker committee.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of the former senate minority leader of the 9th senate, Senator Philip Aduda, to chair the party’s caretaker committee in preparation for the November, 11, 2023 governorship election in Kogi state.
A statement by the National Organizing secretary of the PDP, Hon Umar Bature, which was made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Monday, said the approval of the appointment followed after extensive consultations with the Kogi State stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the area.
He said the appointment of the 14 members of the party’s caretaker committee that will preside over the affairs of our party in the state followed the expiration of tenure of the former elected state working committee of the party.
According to him, the composition of the state party’s caretaker committee members has Senator Philip Aduda as chairman and Hon George Daika as secretary.
The caretaker committee members were, Hon Joshua Adejoh, Hon Sunday Shigaba, Paul Ukwenya, Hon Gbenga Olorunnipa – Member, Hon MO Sule, Chief Dayo Akande, Hon Tola Ade, Audu Idris, Hon Sheidu O Abara, Bilkisu Onusagba, Abiola Olajubu and Grace Atawodi, while Mrs Maria Adeyemi as the Administrative secretary.
The statement, however, said the committee inauguration is slated for Monday, August, 21, 2023 at the PDP national executive committee hall, Wadata plaza, Abuja.
