The General Manager, Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Mallam Momoh Dauda has condoled with the Government of Kogi State and His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello and the victims of tanker fire accident that claimed over 25 lives along Felele area of Lokoja.
Mallam Dauda stated that, the news of the fire incident was received with great shock and use this forum to sympathise with the families that loss their beloved ones, urging them to take solace in Allah.
Mallam Dauda appealed to the federal government to complement the good effort of the state who have been providing remedy to all the federal roads in the State by embarking on the reconstruction of all the truck A roads (Federal Roads) in the State to avert more calamity as the road linking Ganaja to Ajaokuta and its environs as presently in total dilapidation due to ongoing flooding ravaging the state.
Mallam Dauda appealed to residents of Lokoja and passerby to be patient with the State government by obeying traffic rules as we await government action and urged the Federal Road Safety officials to work with the national union of road transport workers for the needed synergy on our road for guaranteed safety.
