Members of Kogi Journalists Forum (KJF), Kaduna wish to rejoice and celebrate with Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris as he clocks 54 years of age.

We recall with nostalgia that your birthday actually reminds us members of KJF the vital role the then governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris ( IBRO) played to sustain the Forum when it was inaugurated in 2010.

Coincidentally, the birthday celebrant is the elder son of the former governor. Our joy therefore knows no bound on this occasion.

However, we wish to seize this opportunity to urge Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim to run for the governorship of our dear State, Kogi because of his track records as an enviable achievers in private business endeavours.

We wish to point out here that, like father, like son, IBRO Junior has the capacity and capability to wear leadership shoes of IBRO Senior as far as governing Kogi is concerned come 2023.

We can testify that IBRO Junior is an erudite businessman and notable politician from Icheke ward, Omala local government, Kogi East Senatorial District.

As he celebrates his 54th birthday today we join other Figures to call on him to throw his hat in the ring to contest in the 2023/2024 governorship race, knowing that he only narrowly lost in the previous exercise due to some intrigues.

As a successful businessman, with interests in hospitality, oil and gas, agriculture and mining sectors of the Nigerian economy with a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy, 2002/2003, and Post-graduate Diploma in Management, 1999/2001, both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a B.Sc. in Agriculture also from Ahmadu Bello University, Kogi State will no doubt enjoy rapid and expanded development under his leadership.

Once again KJF congratulates you on your birthday, and pray to the Almighty God to continue to bless you with good health for more years ahead, and as well bless your political ambition to reality.
