Kogi LG Play to Top Dignitaries who Grace Wedding Of Barrister Tanko Osuku

On Friday, Kogi local government area of the State, played host to many dignitaries from all walk of life who came to grace the wedding ceremony of the Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku and Princess Nana Fatima Abdulkarim Odariko.
The wedding rites took place at the Odariko ruling house Koton-karfe at about 11am.
Mallam Sa’ad Odariko who represented the bride father gave Fatima out in marriage to Muhammed Bashir Amana who represented the groom father after the payment of N49,000 as bride price.
The solemnization ceremony was officiated by a number of leading Islamic clerics both within and outside the shores of Kogi LG.
The Chief Imam of the Central Mosque, Koton-karfe, Yakubu Musa who led other clerics officiated the ceremony.

Among the dignitaries at the wedding ceremony was the former governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State and now President Toto Development Association, TODA, HE. Chief Musa Muhammed Maikaya, Barrister Umar, Kogi LG Treasurer, Alhaji Abdullahi Ohikwura, Vice Chairman of the council, Alhaji Aliyu Dauda, GSS Koton-Karfe 1986 set led by their Head Boy, Mr. Salihu Yusuf, representatives of Ohimgye Igu Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Mukaila Dauda, State and LG appointees and amongst others.
Others were; chiefs from various communities, colleagues in the legal profession, elders, youths and women groups and friends within and outside the State.

Speaking shortly after the wedding solemnization, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya who was in companied of other friends from Lagos, says they were in Koton-Karfe Kingdom to honour one of their own whom they have been together for some decades. He described the personality of Barrister Tanko as a core gentleman and one of the sincere leaders the Egbiras are proud of.
He congratulated Barr. Tanko and his new wife, praying to Allah to grant them peaceful home.

Barr. Umar Abdullahi described Barr. Tanko as a good reliable bossom friend who deserves all the accolades in view of his generosity and inclusive leadership style.

On their part, the 1986 set of the GSS Koton-Karfe led by their head boy Salihu Yusuf said Barr. Tanko was always there for the forum when the need arises. According to him, he established the 1986 set of the GSS Koton-Karfe as part of efforts to foster unity and rendering assistance to the school and presented some gift of items to him on behalf of the group.

The treasurer Kogi LG, Alhaji Dr. Yusuf Abdullahi Ohikwura expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for making it possible for him to be part of this memorable event, adding that mammoth crowd at the scene shows that Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku remains the personality to reckon with in this State.
He described the legal icon as his boss whom he own a lot owing to administrative professionalism while heading Kogi LG.
He congratulated the couple and wish them peaceful home.

Former Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Abdulhammed Danjuma Gegu also joined the good people of Egbira Nation to congratulated the former council Chairman and his newly wedded wife for their successful wedding and prayed to God to grant them a peaceful home.
The chief Imam also prayed for peace and unity in their new home, just as they sought Allah’s guidance in all their dealings.
