Kogi: Omoko Community Endorses Barr. Tanko chairmanship Aspirantion, Insists On Zoning System In Kogi LG

Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, the incumbent Administrator of Kogi Local Government chairmanship ambition got a boost as the Omoko Community declared their support for his candidacy on Tuesday at the Omoko community primary school venue of the gathering amidst large turn out of people and Jubilations

The youths, women and elders of Omoko Community have declared their overwhelmed support in favour of Alhaji Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, in which they described as pragmatic and indefatigable political juggernaut with vast governance experience.

According to the leaders of the community who extensively and collectively spoke in one voice, Hon. Isa Muhammed, Hon Yakubu Gambo, Hon Adamu Ohimoko and many others said: “Today is a great day, the reason being that we are officially declaring and adopting one of us, who lives among us, our incumbent Administrator who serve our people tirelessly with much gains on ground for all to see. We have high hope that he will emerge as APC’s flag-bearer when the primary held, we will vote en masse for him, inview of his numerous developments brought to the people of Kogi LG.

The group further state that “And to demonstrate that our support for Alh. Muhammed Tanko Musa, the security of life and properties he had brought over the years, protected their people from kidnappers and ensure adequate security within and outside their community. we want to congratulate him in advance as the next chairman of Kogi Local Government. We will rest our case here because we are waiting for the special day,”.

“We are fully in support of zoning arrangement in Kogi LG and by doing so the people of Kogi LGA will be better in areas of unity, fair-play, equity and development”.

In the same vein, the Elders Forum of Omoko community, who are men and women of integrity ably led by Alhaji Original, Mall Yusuf Yunusa Principal said, “Barr. Tanko is one of us, a trueborn son of Kogi LG, one that stand for his people, works for his land. He grew up among us and we can identify with him. He is the best Administrator and candidate in this circumstance to be the chairman of Kogi Local Government, and we believe we should give him our open support.”

Hon. Muhammed Isah SK, DG Campaign for Barr. Tanko, Hon. Shuaibu Adamu Aduho, Supervisory Councilor for Education and Social Services commended the people of Omoko and APC stakeholders for their collective decisions aim at ensuring the existing zoning arrangement is not only sustain but maintain in the interest of peace and tranquility.

They briefly spelled out the Administrator works in the last 3 years and called for more support to enable him do more.

The Administrator, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa, who was in attendance during the event which he was endorsed, expressed his gratitude for the supports being given to him by the Omoko Community, adding that he will deliver on his campaign promises if he is elected.

“My word is my bond, and like I always say trust is the core of what i am about and what the people around me and my leaders are about. Now we can all see the developments my Administration has brought to Kogi LG and its environs.”

The Administrator thanked the party stakeholders for identify with him and promised never to let them down.

In another development Barr. Tanko also paid home to HRH. Odumi of Omoko, Mall. Zakari Umar and authentic APC chairman, Alhaji Audu Omoko at their residents.

The Administrator was accompanied by his aides, supporters and well-wishers.

Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa, was former DG Campaign for Alhaji Yahaya Bello representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency in 2015, Former NBA chairman Lokoja branch and incumbent Administrator of Kogi Local Government Area and among others.
