The Executive Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku has been described as a competent, experienced and detribalised leader who over the years used his good office for the benefits of his people and humanity in general.
The Association of Kogi Concern Youth, AKCY, gave the commendation at his residence on F please friday in Lokoja, the state capital when they conferred him with an award of excellence in recognition of his tireless effort in all the office he has served.
The Award was presented to Him by Mr. Sumaila Sunday on behalf of the group, and said that Barr. Tanko remain a personality to reckoned with as far as Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency is concerned.
Speaking shortly after the event, Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission and who is also the recipient, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku thanked the youths for finding him worthy for the honored.
The legal luminary cum politician appreciated God for using the association within Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency to honored him over the services he has been rendering to his people and beyond.
He lauded the youth organization for their maturity, saying they did it in such away that they do not pretend about making show of it.
“I am very happy and overwhelmed that the group did not rigmarole, quibble or pretentiously present it”.
“They did this with all sense of humility looking at their pedigree of an enchantment of their standing in the society, they look at me as credible and of deserving this award. I want to say I am honored greatly and exceedingly thanked the good people of Kogi State particularly this association for the recognition”.
When asked by Radio Kogi Correspondent, Mr. Agbore Olawole whether the association must have notice one or two things before arriving at this juncture, Barr. Tanko said he has served the good people of Kogi, Koton-Karfe Local Government Area as Administrator for a period of four years pursuant the reappointment by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello as Senior Special Assistant for LG & Chieftaincy for about 8 months and the Governor again find him worthy for yet another appointment the position he is occupy today as the Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission.
“It is very rear and difficult for one to see this type of progression, I believed the organizers may have gone into deep research, investigation and saw all these qualities in me as a person before giving me this award.
Barr. Tanko was a former Administrator of Kogi LG, a legal luminary hails from Osuku community in Kogi LG of the State.
