It is no longer news that Kogi Youths Forum has commended Doctor Jacob Samuel Ekele for his numerous humanitarian gestures to the people of Kogi State and beyond.
The President of the Forum, Honourable Attah Emmanuel gave the commendation during an enlarged meeting of the members of the Association which was held in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
Honourable Attah said Doctor Ekele has touched lives in diverse of ways making him one of the foremost Igala extraction that has meet the needs and yearning of the people particularly in the aspect of employment creation, women and youths empowerment many but few to mention.

His words ” sincerely Doctor Ekele has done a lot, though a silent achiever, but we cannot underestimate his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the state. Appart from being an employer of labour, in his own ways, he has extended hand to the schoolers, elderly, youths, women and the less privileged in the society. He used his father’s hotel details Global Hotel and Garden, opposite Mami market, Barracks Lokoja to be supportive to several occasions particularly wedding ceremony. Apart from that, he pays bills for Royal fathers who comes to Lokoja for meetings and conferences. The Global Hotel and Garden is a choice place for students of various tertiary institutions in the state. The facility has benefited students and staff of Kogi State University Anyigba who come to Lokoja for programs including beauty pageant. No doubt, hospitality business runs in the family.
His father who is now a Royal father, His Royal Highness, Ekele Matthew was a key player in hospitality business years back in Kano. He established Destiny Hotel at number 13b Ijebu Road Sabon Garri Kano, in the eighties. The hotel was a centre point for Kogites in kano and it flourish perfectly well till date so much that it gives birth to the Global Hotel in Lokoja. Such an individual needs to be celebrated.
Dr Ekele Jacob Samuel is a respected schooler with PhD in Banking and finance from Kogi State University Anyigba, Msc Banking and Finance from Bayero University Kano, B.Sc Accounting from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Bachelor of Business Education from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, a Degree in Business Education (Accounting Major) a Chartered Accountant and a member of many professional bodies including The Nigeria Institute of Management (NIN), a fellow Company and Commercial Accountant (FCCA), fellow Chattered Forensic Accountant and several others.
He is a detribalised Nigerians who has travelled to many Western countries such as the United Kingdom ( London), the United States of America, and many Africans countries. Interestingly he is a true Nigerian who has been to all the states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory.
He is happily married and blessed with Children. He is currently the Director Finance and Account, National Examination Council (NECO) Minna, Niger State. A silent achiever that is worthy to be celebrated as a Nigerian, as an illustrious son of Kogi State and as an ambassador of the youths.” He said
Engineer Attah urged others in the society to emulate him emphasising that collective efforts towards poverty reduction would yield positive results in creating a better society.
Others issues deliberated upon includes; plans towards the end of the year award presentation, visitation to Orphanage and support for leading aspirants for both Governorship and presidential election come 2023.
