The chairman of Kwali area council in Federal Capital Territory, Hon. Danladi Chiya, has announced the dissolution of members of his cabinet today.

Mr. Chiya, made the announcement in a statement by the head information officer of the council, Mr Habila Emmanuel, which was issued to newsmen on Sunday.

He said the dissolution of the council cabinet members, which included supervisory councillors, special advisers and senior special assistants came to an end after the expiration of three years tenure of administration of the council.

“And having come to an end of the three years tenure of the present administration which was inaugurated on 20th of May, 2019, the council chairman of Kwali area council, Danladi Chiya, has approved the dissolution of the administration’s cabinet with immediate effect,” the statement said.

The chairman, while appreciating everyone for their contribution to the administration, also wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

Our correspondent learnt that the FCT minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, through his Chief press secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, had last Friday, in a statement following a court order is expected to swear-in the newly elected council chairmen and their councilors this week Tuesday, 14, June, 2022.
