According to him,
“Nevertheless, Leadership recruitment and political participation comes with choices both pre election campaign periods and post election time. Freedom of choice is an inalienable right of an individual. The bitter truth is that, your choice sometimes may likely not be my preferred candidate likewise my choice may differ from yours. Yet we coexist with our diverse choices as brothers and sisters, community members, leaders of various groups, members of different political parties and by extension citizens of the same country. Interesting thing is that a lot of us are not card carrying members of any of the major political parties but we made our choices known and followed through to their victories. I think such divergent views should be respected and preserved without verbal altercation, insults and disrespect to anyone whether young or old instead of the castigation. You can’t force anyone to vote for your candidate, we all have choices.”

“I wish to be very clear on my own choices which for whatever reason didn’t make it. I will never disrespect anybody for their preference neither will I create unnecessary enemies for myself because of the outcome of the elections. If you are not happy with the President- Elect, work hard and choose your own leader or become the leader. Most times, the leaders your fight and create enemies for yourself on their behalf don’t even know you. You can’t depend on a President , Senator or a Honourable Member to be successful in life anyway.”

“Let us respect our hurts, anger, frustrations and disappointments. Leadership is from God not man. Whether you are in the APC, PDP or Labour Party, we all belong to a family and a community by extension. Will you distance yourself from your brother/sister or kinsmen because their choice of a leader does not align with your own? Let us be guided. I choose peace over any form of protests.”
