A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, and immediate past Commissioner for Health, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya has expressed hope that his party will emerged victorious considering the efforts of the Governor Abdullahi A. Sule aimed at transforming the State.
The former Commissioner who was speaking on Wednesday shortly after casting his vote at his old market polling unit, Toto, Toto local government area of the State.
He said the large turnout of voters is an indication that the people of Toto still need APC and urged the opposition to queue behind the ruling party as not to be left out in the transformation agenda of the Governor.
“I have gone round the whole units in Toto ward, I am in impressed with large turnout of voters who were eager to works for APC. ” the former Commissioner said.
He said other factors that will add to APC victory was the leadership styles of their leader and Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who have used his office to unite the people of the area.
According to him, Toto LG is witnessing a lot of development today as result of purposeful leadership styles of the Speaker who he described as best brains in the area.
He commended the women, youths and elders of Toto for their support, pointing out that the new council administration will carry everybody’s along.
Global Times Nigeria had reported that Nasarawa State conduct her LG election on 6, October 2021.
In Toto, the election held under peaceful atmosphere with high presence of electoral officials, security agents and all other stakeholders that matters.
