Grand Patron “Maikaya Development Foundation”, Alhaji Muhammed Musa Maikaya (Ciroman Toto), has distributed Study Materials to underprivileged students in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.
The distribution of the books and other learning materials kicked started last week Friday in Lafia LGA, with Government Science School Lafia, Government Senior Secondary School Lafia West, Government Senior Secondary School Lafia North, Government Secondary School St. William Lafia, and other private schools in the state capital.
The event had in attendance, the Speaker National Youths Assembly of Nigeria who represented the founder Maikaya Development Foundation, Rt. Hon. Shuabu Sani, Chairman Nigeria Youths Congress (NYC) Nasarawa state chapter Comrade A. A Sabo, President Nasarawa state Students Association (NASSA) National body, Comrade Alkhamis H. Ladan, Deputy Senate president of NANCES, Comrade Adamu Rinjawa and many more respected personalities.
Speaking at the flag-off, the representative of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Grand Patron, Maikaya Development Foundation, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani (YAN National Speaker and coordinator (MDF) restated their readiness to support the less privileged in all the thirteen (13) local government areas of the state to ease their academic pursuits.
According to Sani, the gestures aimed at augment government efforts at all levels.
While advising the students to utilize the gestures, the President Nasarawa state Students Association (NASSA) National body, Comrade Alkhamis H Ladan, enjoined the beneficiaries to make good use of materials given to them.
Appreciating the Maikaya development foundation, the staff and students of the benefiting schools expressed their happiness and prayed for the founder of the foundation to succeed in all his endeavour.
“It is our fervent prayers that, Almighty Allah will repay you with righteousness and greatness. As you stand still to better the lives of the vulnerable children.” They prayed.
Maikaya, a former Governorship aspirant in the 2019 election in the state, philanthropist, a colossus of international repute, and a seasoned politician vowed to continues to put smile on the faces of his people home and abroad.
