Maikaya Foundation Sponsors Registration of N-power Applicants.

In its efforts to ensure that thousands of unemployed in the rural areas participate in the ongoing N-Power online, the Maikaya Development Foundation has arranged with internet service centres to register the applicants at its cost.

President and Chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Musa Muhammad Maikaya, who disclosed this to newsmen on Saturday, said the gesture is to complement federal government’s efforts at reducing poverty and unemployment.

Maikaya, a former Governorship aspirant in Nasarawa state on the platform of the Alll Progressives Congress (APC), explained that the gesture covers Toto and Nasarawa local government areas with all the Development Areas inclusive.

He said the foundation is aware of the difficulties the prospective applicants from the benefiting areas will encounter in the course of meeting the conditions and processes, hence the decision to offer assistance.

The Philantropist therefore called on the eligible applicants for the N-Power programme from Toto, Umaisha, Gadabuke, Nasarawa, Udege and Loko to avail themselves for the free registration at their nearest internet centres .

The Maikaya foundation which has been doling out scholarship to deserving students at various levels across the state, is also extending its humanitarian activities in health and other socio economic activities in Nasarawa state.

Alhaji Maikaya used the opportunity to commend Nasarawa state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his numerous achievements recorded within the short period of assumption of office and called on the people of the state to give their maximum support and cooperation to the Administration.
