Maulud: Senator Aduda tasks Muslims on peaceful co-existence.
The senate minority leader Senator Philip Aduda representing the FCT, has urged residents of the territory to imbibe the culture of tolerance as the country celebrates the Maulud (birth) of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Aduda, in a message he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Abuja, on Sunday, appealed to all residents of the FCT and Nigeria at large to eschew bitterness and primordial sentiments in their dealings with one another.

He said Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s life is an example in forthrightness, diligence, hardwork and commitment to set objectives, saying imbibing those virtues will help the territory and the nation towards rapid growth and development.
According to him, the occasion of the celebration of the Maulud, residents of the FCT and other Nigerians should collectively reflect on how the Prophet’s life and ideals will help the country overcome its present challenges.

He, however, reiterated his commitment towards providing viable infrastructures such as rural roads, potable drinking water, healthcare, youth/women empowerment, scholarships for indigents students in FCT and among others.
Aduda, also used the occasion of the celebration of the Maulud to advise youth to continue to be law abiding to constituted authorities especially at the peak of the election period.
He further urged the youth to be peaceful especially at the peak electioneering campaigns, cautioning them against engaging in any form. thuggery.
