May 29th: Ex-NEC member, Nduka Anyanwu applauds Tinubu, Shettima on inauguration

Former two-time member of the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Nduka Anyanwu, has applauded an ex-Governor of Lagos, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his inauguration as new President elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The staunch party chieftain also congratulated the immediate past representative of Borno central district at the national assembly, Senator Ibrahim Shettima on his swearing in, as the Nigerian vice President slated on 29th May, 2023 in Abuja.

In a statement personally signed and issued to newsmen shortly after a dinner and gala night ceremony organized by the outgoing Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, in honour of the new president elect and his vice, which took place on Sunday in Abuja.

The parley is parts of activities marked out ahead of monday’s inauguration of new Nigerian leaders who recently emerged at a well conducted and coteed 2023 presidential election held in all parts of the country

n the backdrops of the coming inaugural event in Abuja, Chief Anyanwu, who was also the a member of the disbanded APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), noted that the duo’s emergence as new leaders of the country signposted a renewed hope for a greater Nigeria, wherein every citizens shall have access and enjoy critical government’s amenities for their general well beings.

The APC founding member from Abia state also assured people of the country that Tinubu and Shettima will not disappoint them and shall replicate same giant strides they achieved in their respective states as then governors, when inaugurated as President and vice president of Nigeria.

According to Anyanwu,, “there are no doubts that the two new Nigerian leaders will further bring to bear their enormous and vast wealths of experiences in consolidating the already-layed strides in the nation’s economy and Infrastructure, and also engender more developmental projects in every stratas of the country for good of the Nigeria populaces.

“Their capacities, abilities and expertises need not to be debated in public and private forums. They have demonstrated this sterling and uncommon capacities in public leadership. So, i am assuring Nigerian people that APC led government in the country will not relent or deter in improving the people’s standard of livelihoods and development”.

While lauding the outstanding leadership acumen of the newly elected Nigerian leaders as they set for their formal inauguration, Anyanwu, an erstwhile former Assistant national publicity secretary of the defunct All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP), thanked the outgoing President of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari for rewriting the ugly narratives associated with political leadership in the country under the past administrations.

He further noted that Nigerian citizens will miss Buhari for rekindling their confidences in Nigeria, through the actualization of a well-secured, and economically and infrastructural stable Nigeria which country men and women are currently enjoying.

The Convener of Oha’ndigbo worldwide, also used the medium to saluted the judicial arm of Nigerian government for demonstrating it remains the last hope of a common man in the society by reaffirming Tinubu and Shettima as duly elected President and vice president of Nigeria respectively, during the recently-conducted 2023 general elections across all federation states of the country.

Recall that the Supreme Court had on Friday, dismissed a suit by the PDP to stop Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29 over double nomination.

He called on the citizenry to give their maximum support to Tinubu and Shettima to enable them succeed with lofty and visionary policies titled in transforming every critical sectors of the nation’s economy, and also deepening current democratic process in the country.
