May 29th inauguration: Ugolee calls for support for Otti, assures economically-stable Abia under latter’s administration

The member-elect of Abia State House of Assembly, and chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Hon Austin Okezie-Meregini, (Ugolee), has tasked people of the state at home and diaspora, on total support for the new administration in the state.
Meregini who will represent Umuahia east constituency seat in 8th Abia assembly leadership, was speaking with newsmen at the weekend in Umuahia, on the backdrops of the May 29th, 2023 inauguration of the substantive winner of the just-concluded Abia 2023 governorship seat election conducted by INEC, Dr Alex Otti, as the new Governor of the eastern state.
The LP lawmaker elect confided that, people of the state will begin to feel positive impacts of true democratic governance immediately Dr Otti assume office come Monday, assuring also that the new governor elect has the requisite capacity, competence and expertises to address most of teething challenges hindering efforts of Abia state to attain Infrastructural greatness.
Okezie-Meregini reassured that every segments of the state shall positively be touched by the incoming administration of the labour party, as he also reiterated that the laudable economic agendas and blueprints reeled out and unveiled by Dr. Alex Otti, during the recently-conducted electioneering campaigns and rallies held in Abia state, revolved on tackling headlong the myriads of Abia problems, and engender rapid development and transformation in every economic sector of the state.
The frontline Abia legislator elect further used the medium to call on people of Umuahia east state constituency, ndi ibeku, residents of the area and entire Abia citizens to troop out enmasse on Monday 29th, 2023, to witness the coming epoch making inauguration of a foremost economist and ex- bank chief, Alex Otti, as new executive governor of the state.
“All arrangements have been concluded to ensure smooth transition of power come Monday 29th of may this year. Nothing will stop the inauguration event. Dr Alex Otti shall be swore in as new state Governor. And i can attest to you, May 29, is a day Abia people awaits to further reaffirm and demonstrate their love and support for Dr Otti, who they undoubtedly, have total confidence in rebuilding and repositioning our dear state on the path of economic prosperity and infrastructural growths”, Okezie-Meregini partly stated.
