A personality with milk of human kindness and a grass root politician who is always ready to serve his people.
Engr. Andrew Adama is a seasoned politician to the core and an administrator par excellent who has used his resources and contacts to change the political narrative of Okura Constituency. He worked hard to give victories to the President- elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and His Vice , Senator Kashim Shettima and all other All Progressives Congress ( APC) candidates in the just concluded 2023 general elections.
This young philanthropist has always identified some key areas of human challenges and gets them addressed and thereby putting smiles on the faces of the good people of Okura Constituency in Dekina LGA of Kogi State and by extension ,the (9) nine local government areas of Kogi East Senatorial District and other parts of Kogi State.
Having interacted with Engr. Andrew Adama, I have come to conclusion that despite not holding any political or elective office, he is still doing so much to put smiles on the faces of people of his constituency and those that come across him as he always emphasizes that, God has blessed him in no small measure and the only way to appreciate God is to give back to the society by helping the needy and other vulnerable persons who are in need of an assistance as government alone can’t solve all the social , economic and other needs of the people in view of some competing demands and scarce resources available at it disposal.
However, Hon. Andrew Adama has identified and intervened in several areas namely in :
(1) Education
(2) Health
(3) Youths and Women Empowerment
(4) Rehabilitation of palaces of traditional rulers
(5) Building and equipping of churches and the likes
(6) Rehabilitation of roads
(7) Building the capacity of the youths in the area of sports, entertainment thereby solving and reducing crimes rate in the society.
Our people say “Seeing is believing as pictures cant lie as we shall be taking our time to enumerate some of the the above mentioned areas as they effect the society:
Education: Hon. Engr. Andrew Adama has been helping to pay West Africa Extermination Council ( WAEC) fees ,JAMB registration , scholarship to indigent students from primary to university level and even at post-graduate level.
Health: a number of members of the public who were down as a result of one illnesses or the other have received the attention of this young philanthropist.
Youths and Women Empowerment: a good numbers of youths and women have been engaged working at his construction company which is into building, leasing and others at Abuja office and other branches across the country thereby providing employment, a task that government alone can’t handle as security should be seen as every body’s business in an environment to be free of crimes and others associated abnormal behaviour in the society.
Also, some of these people who have no requisite skills and knowledge to work with his company do have some fall back empowerment schemes like wielding, barbing , tailoring among other trades aimed at putting food on their table for their family
Infrastructural development:
The palace of the Onu Egume was rehabilitated by Hon. Andrew Adama , the palace has been neglected for decades and as the son of the soil , he promised the Onu that, his palace would receive necessary attention soonest and which he did. During the commissioning of the palace, the paramount ruler stated in his address of welcome that, Hon. Engr. Andrew Adama shall go far in life with sound health, riches and longevity for doing this singular act for him and the community.
Base on his antecedent as a strong lover of community development, he was appointed the Director General, the All Progressives Congress ( APC) Presidential Campaign Council an offer he used excellently well for the victory of president-elect and all other APC candidates in the just concluded 2023 general elections.
Building and equipping of churches and the likes : Engr. Andrew Adama has not forgotten his humble beginning as a believer of Christ who ensures the promotion of peaceful religion harmony among his people and by extension ensures conducive atmosphere of worship.
Building of capacity of the youths: countless number of youths from his constituency are engaged in positive and rewarding ventures as we could attest to their large support during the period of campaign and election which saw to the victory of his party with 100%victory.
Various sporting activities and vocational trades were provided by him.
Rehabilitation of roads among others: Some streets and feeder roads within Anyigba town and its environs got the attention of Engr. Andrew as some streets that had been neglected for more than two decades were put to motorable use through his philanthropist gesture.
The lists of his excellent service to humanity and achievements in life is beyond what this writer could put down at the moment, but be assured that, I will try my best to do justice to all the issues relating to his modest achievements over time.
As the reward of good work is more work, this writer therefore recommend Hon. Engr. Andrew Adama to serve in higher capacity having been tested and trusted and he is ready to do more for the benefits of all.
Various personalities and speakers spoke glowingly about the good gestures of Hon. Andrew Adama , notable among the speakers were the former Kogi State Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP ) Hon. Alh. Abubakar Usman ( Aka Alapa) who commended the excellent gestures of Engr. Andrew despite belonging to different political parties and prayed to God to bless him the more .
This statement was made during the inspection of some ongoing rehabilitation of street projects within Anyigba metropolis
He called on government to intervene in some of the erosion proned areas in Anyigba and its environs most especially the Iyale road drainage control that normally claims lives yearly.
Engr. Andrew Adama is the chairman and CEO of Andreams Global Properties Ltd, from a humble family of Agbeji Ajikagbo in Okura district of Dekina LGA of Kogi State, he obtained his LGEA certificate from Agbeji from 1994 to 1999 and later went to Government Secondary School, Karshi ,FCT ,Abuja from year 2000 to 2005 and graduated with flying colour.
He graduated from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa where he studied Real Estate.
He is married and blessed with children.
He has donated handsomely to support the victory of Tinubu / Shettima presidency ,2023.
