In any political sojourn, it has always been necessary to actually know the true story about an aspirant or candidate of a Political Party.
This is premised on the fact that knowing a person well will transcend to making informed decision about such an aspirant or candidate.
Consequently, the writer of this, Biraidu Integrity Group, BIG, Nationwide deemed it appropriate to come up with this to further sell Hon Princess Joy Oguche who is aspiring for the House of Assembly seat, for DEKINA/BIRAIDU CONSTITUENCY in this next political dispensation, 2023 general election.
Hon. Princess Joy Oguche popularly called “Iron Lady” was born into the family of Mr Andrew Salifu, Agoli of Abocho Eti-Aja in Dekina Local Government Area of the State in the late sixties.
She had her Primary Education in both Makurdi then Benue State and concluded in Abocho and there after went to the prestigious Our Lady of Schools, Anyigba and graduated in the year 1989.
Interestingly, Hon Joy Oguche, in her quest for education, went to Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, where she bagged a Diploma in Public Administration with excellent performance.
On the creation of Kogi State in 1991, Hon Joy was employed into Kogi State Council For Arts and Culture as Cultural Assistant, an office she gradually progressed to the Senior cadre before her active interest in politics.
The Iron Lady, as she is called both within Kogi state and across the Country, was mentored by the late Political icon, Prince Abubakar Audu, where she learnt the Art and Science of politicking in its entirety.
As a renowned politician, she had diligently worked with past governments and equally served in various capacities politically as well as served in several Committees of the party, both in Kogi State and Nationally.
She was an SSA to the former Chairman of Dekina Local Government, Hon Muhammed Ali among other appointments.
A mobilizer of women, she is a leader of several women groups, with high integrity, a public speaker, a giver, philanthropist, a woman of peace, very Frank, sincere, and indeed, a goal getter.
Hon Princess Joy Oguche had remained with the APC contributing her quota to the growth and development of the party.
She is presently the Senior Special Assistant to Dekina Local Government Chairman on Legislative matters.
Hon Princess Joy Oguche, a widow, blessed with lovely children and loved by all.
For the sake of adequate information, she is aspiring for the Assembly seat for the fourth time under this dispensation.
It is therefore, morally right, politically justifiable and in the spirit of fairness, that this humble woman be now supported and considered to move Biraidu to the next level of development.
Political actors, party leaders and Elders should now see this voice of reason by allowing Hon Princess Joy Oguche to fly the party’s ticket.
Obviously, the Iron Lady has all it takes to ensure effective representation in Kogi State House of Assembly.
Let’s all support Princess Joy Oguche.
