Ministerial portfolios: Kogi Legislator hails Tinubu for assigning Audu to Steel Development.

Hon Idrees Maikudi Aliyu, a Member Kogi state House of Assembly, representing Kogi local government constituency, noted with satisfaction the appointment of Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as the Minister of Steel Development.

Reacting to the unveiling of the portfolios of the Ministers designate, the Lawmaker in an interview with correspondent on Thursday, in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, said President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has surprised Nigerians on expectations that some nominees could have been assigned certain ministries, the people of Kogi are very happy with the posting of Shuaibu Audu to the Ministry of Steel Development.
Hon. Aliyu said with the Kogi indigene as head of the Ministry of Steel Development, the almost abandoned ‘national treasure’ Ajaokuta Steel Company, will be revived and made to boost the economy and enhance massive employments for millions of the Nigerians youths.

While thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for considering Shuaibu Abubakar Audu for the Ministry of Steel Development, the Lawmaker equally commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his foresight to recommend the promising young man for the Ministerial appointment.
Aliyu also noted that the Young Man is equiped and exposed, who will not relent in the quest to ensure the resucitation of the Ajaokuta Steel Company as well as development of all other large steel deposits across the country.
He urged the new Minister to represent the state very well and positively, so as to give confidence in the youths of the country.
