My Diary @ First Annual GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s Political & Crime Correspondents – Omoba Abdurazaq
I join my well informed Information and Digital Communicating Commissioner on a mission to the Nigeria Centre of Unity to discuss GYB Kogi with the members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm and the tree at the centre of the forest, the new Sheriff in town Essential GYB Presidentially sited throughout the event.
From my diary I highlighted some important substances at the two days program at Transcorp Hilton Hotels Abuja.
The excellent work of Governor Yahaya Adoza Okikiola Ipineteyan Bello in the areas of Security, financial and fiscal transparency highly rated by the WB in consecutive years, improved IGR, drop in out of school children from above 15% to a single digits percentage, improvement and upgrading of facilities in existing schools and institutions and establishment of new ones.
Others include multi-billion naira tertiary, secondary & primary health centres, across the entire state, robust civil service reform that has improved productive and general performance, mechanized and industrialized agriculture for food security, provision of credit facilities and counterpart funding for rural farmers, MSMEs of special intervention support to agricultural, health and education sectors of the economy, massive infrastructural development.
The hallmarks of which are the unrivalled youth and women inclusive participatory government first of it’s kind in Africa in recent times and which has now become a model for which Nigerians across all demographics, geopolitical zones home and abroad were clamouring for GYB to seek the exalted office in the nation come 2023.
Through the event, members of the fourth estate of the realms have discovered the diaspora agent provocateurs of lies peddling and now resolved to Report Nigeria to Nigerians about the working and extra ordinary qualities, policies and programs of ESSENTIAL GYB.
