On Monday 7th July, 2020 was beehive of activities at the FCT, Abuja office of the Toto Local Government born famous award winning legal luminary as the entire leadership of National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) presented him with an award of Excellence to in recognition of his outstanding Achievement in education sector, excellent performance in his legal profession and commitment in selfless service to humanity, Immense contribution to the nation building as well as women and youth empowerment among others things.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mallam. Abba Salisu Maikanka, said Barr. Labaran Magaji and Mattallwen Toto was overwhelmed over the love he received by the Nigeria’s students appreciating his service to humanity and nation was indeed a challenge to spur him to do more.
Mattawalen speaking while receiving the students body call on the students to be proactive and become productive while staying at home during the ban on schools due to ongoing Coronavirus pandemic which has ravaged the nation for months now.
He also caution students not to neglect their studies which he said staying at home should be another challenge to be a good ambassadors and to continued to represent the true values of unionism. Matawallen said.
