The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has sought for collaborating with the Abuja Original Inhabitants Youth Empowerment Organization (AOIYEO) ahead of its forthcoming national convention.
National President of NANS, Comrade Sunday Use, made this known when he led a delegation of the association on a courtesy call to the president of AOIYEO, under the leadership of Commandant Isaac David, in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said NAN’s desire to seek collaboration with AIOIYEO was informed by the prudent and quality leadership of AOIYEO under Commandant Issac David, which he said has been championing the cause of the FCT youth.

Responding, the executive director of AIOIYEO, Commandant, Isaac David, appreciated the NAN’s president and his delegation for their visit and for identifying with the achievements of AOIYEO.
He, therefore, pledges his support and commitment to the forthcoming NANS National Convention, adding that the AOIYEO was ready to give every necessary support that will enhance a peaceful, credible, free, and fair convention.
David, however, recalled how NANS identified with him through the issuance of a letter of commendation over the evacuation of some stranded Abuja students studying at the University during the civil unrest in the state.
