Nasarawa Assembly Majority Leader’s wife distributes wrappers, shirts and trousers worth N3m to Women and Orphans in Awe North constituency On Sallah.
Wife of the Majority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hajiya Basira Tanko Tunga, has distributed 1,500 wrappers,1,500 Trousers and Shirts worth N3million to women and orphans in Awe North constituency to enable them celebrate sallah festival with joy.
Mrs Tunga while distributing the items today in Awe urged the beneficiaries to use them for the purpose they are meant for.
She said that the distribution of the items was part of her continued commitment to support her husband towards uplifting the standard of living of the people of the constituency.
” I urge you to use them judiciously in order to enable you celebrate the sallah with joy and feel belonging.
” I want to assure you of our continued commitment to initiate good policies and programmes that will improve on your standard of living” she said.
The majority leader’s wife solicited the support of the people of the constituency to enable her husband succeed.
Mrs Tanko Tunga has called on the people of the constituency and the state at large to support Gov.Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023.
She urged the people of the constituency and the state at large to live in peace, be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
