Nasarawa Health Commissioner Dr. Gwamna assures Speaker Balarabe of his commitment to deliver quality healthcare services
The Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has described the newly appointed health commissioner in the State, Dr. Gaza Gwamna as a seasoned administrator par excellence, and is committed to serve his people.
Speaker Balarabe who represent the good people of Umaisha/Ugya constituency, Wednesday paid a surprised visit to his brother and now health Commissioner in the State.
The Speaker was accompanied by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Mohammed Omadefu.
While congratulating the new Commissioner, Rt. Hon Balarabe charge him to uphold the confidence Governor Abdullahi A Sule placed in him by exceeding his previous achievements as Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) for the benefit of the state’s residents as a whole.
Assured the Commissioner of his continued support to enable him succeed.
Dr Gaza Gwamna, the Nasarawa State Health Commissioner has reiterated his commitment to ensure healthcare delivery to people both in rural areas and the vulnerable across the three (3) Senatorial Districts of the State.
Dr. Gaza stated this while receiving the Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi at his office, Ministry of Health, Lafia.
According to him, Health is one of the cardinal programmes of Governor Abduallhi Sule, saying he will strive to succeed.
He stressed the need for the citizens to support government programmes and policies, adding that such acknowledgement and collaboration will ensure quality basic health care services are delivered to the majority of Nasarawa people.
Dr Gwamna appreciated the Speaker for the visit and assured him and the people of Nasarawa State of his commitment to delivered on the health need of the people.
He expressed his deep gratitude to the Speaker for the love, unwavering support, and leadership he has shown to him through both words and deeds.
He prayed God to protect, guide and grant Speaker Balarabe sound health in order to accomplished the good work he has started.
