Nasarawa Lawmaker, Okpoku Gets 3 recognition from constituents, assures of more dividends

Council of Elders of Udege Kasa in Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State has conferred on memberS representing Udege/ Loko constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon Mohammed Okpoku with Odagyo title meaning A Tree that Provides Shelter for others.
The kinsmen of Hon Okpoku also passed a vote of confidence on him over his leadership qualities.
The youths of the area under its association, Udege Community Youth also presented the lawmaker with an award of excellence over his youth’s friendly policies.
Hon Okpoku while receiving the traditional title and the award in Udege Kasa said that it will spur him to do more in providing the much-needed dividends of democracy to his people.
He has also assured them of his continued commitment to representing them well at the state legislature.
The lawmaker has further called on the people of his constituency and the state at large to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
Besides, he urged his people and Nigerians to continue to live in peace, be their brother’s keepers and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
