The Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has appreciated his constituents for returning him for third term and the citizens of the state for reelecting Governor Abdullahi Sule.

He called on the opposition parties in the state to join hand with the ruling party to move the state forward saying it is time for the healing process.

The Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lafia the state capital appreciated the citizens of the state for returning Governor Abdullahi Sule for second term to enable him build on the solid foundation he has put in place so far assuring citizens of better days ahead.

The statement Quotes the state number three citizen as saying that election will come and go but the most important thing is how to unite and build the state of our dream therefore we should embrace the healing process now.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi commended INEC for conducting a credible elections and appreciated the efforts of the security agencies for ensuring a hitch-free exercise as well as the media for the wonderful and exceptional role they play in giving the entire process the coverage it deserved.

He also appreciated his constituents of Umaisha/ Ugya, his traditional ruler the Ohimegye Opada His Royal Majesty Alhaji Usman Abdullahi and other community leaders and stakeholders for the wonderful support they gave him assuring them that he will consolidate on his past achievements.

Balarabe Abdullahi congratulated Governor Abdullahi Sule, the APC party for resounding victory in the State and all those elected for the State House of assembly urging them all to be magnanimous in victory and those who could not make it to have a large heart and see it as the will of God Almighty who has designed something better for them in the near future.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi called on the entire people of the state to remain law abiding and remain committed to constituted authorities for peace and progress of the State.
