Nasarawa Speaker mourns Safiyanu Bage, pray Allah to grant him paradise.
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has expressed sympathised to the Emir of Lafia, HRH. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammed over the passing of his elder brother, Alhaji Safiyanu Bage.
The Speaker who led other members of the House to condoled with the royal family, described death as the necessary end to every mortal and enjoined the Emir to accept the demise of his elder brother in good faith.
“Your Royal Highness, there is time to be born and there is time to die, may Allah in his infinite mercy console you and the entire family, Lafia Emirate Council and the entire State over this painful loss.”
“May the Almighty Allah forgive the deceased of his shortcoming, reward his good deeds and grant him Aljanatul firdaus as his final abode amen,”he prayed.
Responding, the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad (Rtd) appreciated the Speaker and his members for identifying with the palace during its trial moment and prayed God to reward them accordingly.
Emir of Lafia Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad ( Rtd) used the medium to informed the Speaker and lawmakers that he has been following their activities and expressed satisfaction with their performance so far.
” Mr speaker,I want to appreciate you, you are a blessing to the State,I want to show my happiness with what you people are doing at the state legislature towards peace, unity and development of the State, may Allah be your guide at all times”
” The state lawmakers have passion for the state, the achievements so far recorded in the state, you have the credit and I urge you to sustain the spirit,” the Emir said.
“I wish you people well in all that you are doing” He added.
