Nasarawa Speaker reacts to Queen Mother’s death, Hajia Maimunat Usman, says it’s one too many
Toto local government area has been thrown into morning following the death of Queem Mother of Umaisha, Opanda Kingdom, Hajia Maimunat Usman.
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe has described the death of the Queen Mother, Hajia Maimunat Usman as one too many to bear.
Speaker Balarabe also said it’s a colossal loss to Toto LGA.
The people of Opanda Kingdom (Umaisha) in Toto LGA of Nasarawa State has been thrown into a mournful mood this morning following the death of their QUEEN MOTHER, the wife of Ohimegye Opanda Hajiya Maimuna Usman Abdullahi in the early hours of today.
Her Royal Majesty, a Retired Permanent Secretary and Season Administrator, Hajiya Maimuna Usman Abdullahi, the wife of Ohimege Opanda Umaisha, HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi died in Keffi last night and her funeral will take place this morning in Keffi.
The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has described her demise as a big blow and colossal death not only to Opanda Kingdom, Toto LGA but the State at large.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi described the death of the Queen Mother of Opanda Kingdom as one death too many to bear praying God to forgive her shortcomings and grant her paradise as her final home as well as console the people.
“Allahu Akbar, this is shocking, very shocking, from Allah we all came and shall all return, what can we say, Hajia Maimunat was a bridge for all of us, a big vacuum has been created”
