Nasarawa Speaker urges Muslims to preach love, shun hatred, inaugurate new mosque in Umaisha
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Friday, urged Muslims to shun act capable of causing disunity and work for peace and progress of the society.
The speaker stated this when he joined his people to observed Juma’at prayer in Tudun Barade Mosque, Umaisha, Toto Local Government Area of the state.
The Speaker also joined his people to inaugurate a newly built and furnished Juma’at mosque for overall used of the community.
Balarabe Abdullahi, who is representing Umaisha/Ugya state constituency congratulated Muslim Community in the area for the newly built Juma’at mosque.
The elated speaker emphasized the need for people most especially Muslim ummah to contribute towards nation-building, peace and unity in the society, saying doing so will enhance more development.
He thanked the people of Umaisha development and by extension Toto LG for their support, solidarity and prayers.
Speaking earlier, Chief Imam of the Mosque, Mallam Abdulkarim Muhammed Auta tasked believers on the significant of contributing to the course of religion propagation and urged because believers not to relent in that aspect and continue to do things with the fear of God.
He appreciated the Speaker and other leaders of the area for attending the inauguration of the Juma’at mosque.
