…..as DFA Nasarawa Assembly’s younger brother, Mustapha joins the marriage institution.
Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lafia Professor Shehu Abdul-Rahman has tasked married couples with love, openness, and avoidance of third party in their affairs to build a peaceful, united, and successful marriage life.
They made the call today in Lafia during the wedding Fatiha of the younger brother to Alhaji Alkali Haruna the Director of Finance and Accounts of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Mustapha Salihu Alkali and his beloved one Hussaina Idris Galadima.
The Speaker who was represented by his Chief of Staff Aboky Suleiman and the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lafia Professor Shehu Abdul-Rahman emphasized the significance of marriage as an institution ordained to mankind by God.
They emphasized that its success depends on patience, understanding, openness, sincerity, and above all how couples address their differences amicably without involving a third party.
After the fulfillment of all the necessary marital conditions including the payment of 100 thousand naira dowry, the Chief Imam of Secretariat Mosque Lafia Mallam Muhammed Arikya pronounced Mustapha and Hussaina as husband and wife.
He enjoined them to adhere strictly to the tenants of marriage as enshrined in the Holy Quran to have a blessed home.
The wedding Fatiha brought together prominent Sons and Daughters of Egbura within and outside the State including Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs Office of the Secretary to the State Government Umar Idris Onairo, Professor Salihu Danlami, and Professor Haruna Ibrahim among others just as prayers for the couple, the State and the Country, as well as success of the general election, was held.
