Nasarawa state Conditional Cash Transfer Commences Payment to beneficiaries in 13 LGAs.

The combined tranches 17th, 18th and 19th cycles of payment under the Nasarawa State Conditional Cash Transfer has commenced on Tuesday 25th October, 2022 with Awe LGA.

The Programme otherwise known as Kudin AA Sule is being implemented through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Humanitarian Services to Governor Abdullahi Sule and Focal Person (NSIP),  Hon. Imran Jibrin.

In a press statement issued and made available to Globaltimesnigeria.com by the focal person indicated that the payment process started last year March with 3800 beneficiaries cutting across all the 13 LGAs of the State, which involves the payment of N5,000 monthly stipend to each of the beneficiaries for a period of 2 years.

According to him, Due to the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, that plunged the world into economic crisis, some payments were not made, covering about 6 months arrears.

However, the ever diligent, committed and dedicated Governor, made a promise to pay all outstanding payments before the end of October.

Following his words with action, the payments of arrears commenced two months ago where in the first instance, beneficiaries went home with a sum of N10,000 each, then another N10,000 during the last payment cycle .

Now the beneficiaries will be going home with the sum of N15,000 each; N10,000 arrears of 2 months while N5,000 is for the current payment cycle.

The participants are therefore advised to remain posted, remain patiently and wait for the turn of their local government areas.
