Nasarawa state Teacher’s Service Commission says it will screen over two thousand (2000) candidates who are seeking employment with the commission, in Nasarawa western senatorial district of the state.
Chairman of the commission, Abdullahi Abu Galadima while flagging off the screening exercise at Government Secondary School Keffi, Monday.
The chairman Nasarawa state Teachers service commission, Abu Galadima, said the screening exercise have since kicked started from the Nasarawa /Toto axis, stressing that it will go along way to identifying qualify teachers to be gainfully employed.
Galadima explained that the commission will ensure that the screening exercise will be based on merit and principle, adding that it is mostly concentrating on the science subjects and the criteria include, the original certificates i”operation voter cards.
According to him, the commission through the screening will select only those who performed credibly well in the exercise, urgint the participants to behave inline with the rules and regulations to enable them succeed.
The TSC boss, revealed that after the exercise in Western zone, the commission will also screen other candidates from the northern and southern zones of the state respectively.
Speaking separately, some of the candidates, Salia Ismaila from Nasarawa local government and Makama Abubakar expressed optimism that they will be qualify for the job noting that the interview is well organized and there is orderliness.
The exercise had the representative of the federal character commission Nasarawa State branch, who supervised the exercise to ensure that the process was in order.
