Nasarawa YAN Lauds Gov Sule Over Wandai’s Nomination As Head Of NASIEC

Following the recent nomination of NASIEC head in Nasarawa State, the State Governor, Engr Abdullah Alhaji Sule has approved the nomination of Hon. Ayuba Wandai Usman, immediate past Executive Chairman of Nasarawa LGA to serve as Chairman, Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) succeeding Ambassador Henry J. Omaku.

A statement by Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Nasarawa State Chapter through the State Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ja’afar Muhammad Loko commending the well deserved and purposeful appointment of Wandai, adding that, the appointment will strengthen the relationship between YAN and the commission and to ensure conduct of free, fair and credible polls

YAN in a congratulatory message to Hon. Wandai, charge him to build on the legacies of his predecessor, Mr Henry Omaku.

“His appointment is a clear reflection of the Executive Governor’s confidence on Youths leadership and in particular him as one with ability to sustain the fairness and credibility of the State Electoral Commission”.

YAN equally reminds Wandai that, His Appointment coming at a time the state is approaching Local Government Elections; is an indication that, your none – partisan and impartial principles are needed now more than before. Therefore, remain focus and neutral.
