National Honor: Ex-Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Congratulates Ona of Abaji.
The former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris (CON) has congratulated the Ona of Abaji, HRH Alhaji Dr Adamu Baba Yunusa on his conferment of national honor, Commander of the order of the Niger (CON), by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement personally signed by the former governor , described the honor as well deserved.
He says the Ona of Abaji has been the architect of continuous peace and development in the nation’s city over the years, saying his traditional leadership qualities was distinct and unique.
He recalled his leadership as Chairman , FCT traditional council, saying he has placed the traditional class above any other motives rather the welfare of their subjects and domain.
The former Kogi Governor says his new status will be an opportunity to contribute more to the development of Nigeria.
