Nigerian Hunters Reiterate Commitment To Support Conventional Security Network To Curb Insecurity

The North Central Zonal Command of Nigeria’s Hunters Council (NHC) has reiterated its determination to support the conventional security apparatus existing in the zone to curb insecurity.

Commander Abdulhakeem Ibrahim, the North Central Zonal Commandant gave the assurance while addressing ranks and files of members in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.

According to him, the council”s intelligence and anti-terrorist units of the council have continued to support the police and other relevant security architectures to arrest criminals in the forest and on the major highways.

He noted that these proactive measures adopted by the command have helped to make the totality of the North Central zone free from the hydra-headed monster of endemic insecurity which has caused social disaffections in the country.

”We at the zonal office are proud of Kogi Hunter Group for their proactive-ness in fighting crimes in all forms.”

Accordingly, the six states and the federal capital territory are expected to deploy two hundred hunters in the zonal command as part of efforts to strengthen the security base of the north-central command.

”You are expected to constitute the anti-terrorists and intelligence units to facilities bringing the activities of the men of the other world check and rid them completely from the society”

Commander Abdulhakeem Ibrahim used the avenue to praise Governor Yahaya Bello for his administration’s humongous financial support to the State command stating that the government’s genuine cooperation has helped to fast track the operations of his men in the state.

The State Commandant of the hunters’ Council, Monday Peter in a brief remarked said his commend has been working hard to ensure that the heinous crimes are reduced in the state.

The State commanders from Nasarawa, Plateau, Kwara, Niger, Benue, Niger, and Federal capital territory attended the security meeting.
