Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors inducts new members

The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors has inducted new members into the corporate membership cadre of the body.

The Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank Limited, QS Awwal Hayatudeen Atiku FNIQS inducted qualified new members into the corporate membership cadre of the professional body, at the two-day national workshop held by the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, NIQS.

The National Executive Council of the professional body nominated the MD FHA Mortgage Bank, Awwal Hayatudeen Atiku also a Quantity Surveyor to grace the occasion during tagged induction and dinner night.

The event which took place at the International conference center ICC Abuja, between Wednesday 24th, and Thursday 25th, with members cut across the country who were present at the occasion, was climaxed by the induction ceremony held on Thursday.

The theme of the two-day National event, “Construction Contract Claims: Evaluation Presentation & Analysis was climaxed by the induction program.

The statement released by Secretary-General QS Rotimi Bola Ojelade had members of the NIQS among the guests that graced the occasion.

The Managing Director FHA Mortgage Bank solicited the new inductees to display not only professional conduct but the passion that will promote the profession both in Nigeria and outside the shores of the country.

He congratulated the body for the success recorded in this year’s, 2022 event.

Global Times Nigeria reports that the event had several stakeholders from other sectors in attendence and equally presented their input to the organizers.

The program was described as one of the very best in history of the organization
