Nigerians Advised to Seek for God’s Intervention Over Challenges Facing the Country

Nigerians have been advised to seek for divine intervention for an end to the numerous challenges presently bedeviling the Country.

The Senior Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church, Okene District with the Headquarters in Bikon Estate, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Reverend Samson Olofinlusi, made the call in his message to mark the first Sunday in the month of September, 2021.

Rev. Olofinlusi said the call became necessary following the reoccurring issues that has caused havoc to citizens of the Country, paralyzed the economy, disrupted the livelihood of many and placed on hold the education of many young Nigerians.

The Senior Pastor explained that the current situation calls for collective prayers irrespective of religion, tribe, tongue, class, amongst others, saying the peace of the Nation translates to individual’s peace and progress.

“If it is well with Nigeria today, it will be well with not just those in power alone but everyone of us

“Let’s not fold our arms thinking its government’s problem and not ours

“If there is peace in Nigeria, individual will benefit from it, we will return to our legitimate businesses, our youths that returned from school due to insecurity will go back to continue their studies, the economy will smile again and so on

“But these things will not just come by easily, we need to all rise and contend for them prayers

“God has promised to heal our lands but we too have a role to play, we need to humble ourselves in prayer and make our request known to God”

Rev. Samson Olofinlusi added that the people of old were also faced with challenges during their sojourn on earth, stressing that the Nation’s current situation is temporary.

“When we look at what is happening in the Nation today, its not just happening now, even in the Bible days they faced problems but they overcame them all

“So my advise is that we should take our problems to the Lord in prayers, if He did it before, He will do it again”
