No longer at ease with the Igala/Bassa Consensus meeting.
By Joshua Adaji
In view of the show of bias and open partiality in play at the on going meeting of the Igala/Bassa people led by Dr Sule Odoma, Some members of the steering/selection committee have expressed their displeasure at the proceedings of the meeting.
This is sequel to the pushover attempt to select a consensus Governorship Candidate for the Igala/Bassa people on Wednesday 3rd of May 2023.
Many have withdrawn their membership of selection committee due to the obvious pursuance of an interest among those aspiring to be Governor by the leadership of the group.
Despite the weighty allegation of bribery and corruption leveled against the leadership of the group, they are bent on going ahead to declare their choice at the proposed Saturday the 6th of May meeting.
The former members are urging the good people of Kogi East to disregard what ever is the outcome of their meeting on Saturday.
The outcome of the meeting cannot stand the test of time.
A more credible platform will perfect the on going quest for a consensus Governorship Candidate soon.
