The first Edition of the Students Union Senate magazine with the themed “Legislative Business: The Legislature as a tool for National development” has been launched and presented to the public.
The Magazine produced by the SUG senate, Nasarawa State University Keffi, under the chairman, editorial team, Shade Anota Yakubu, to promote legislative activities of the students union, took place at the assembly hall of the University recently, had in attendance dignitaries from all walks of life.
Speaking on the essence of the Magazine, the out gone senate president of the institution, Francis Anzaku, disclosed that the magazine contained Article from the chairman house Committee on Education, DANIEL Oga Ogazi, a summary of the Nasarawa state house assembly compendium from the office of the Speaker, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, and insights from the student Senate President respectively.
Addressing the students, the Dean, student affairs of the University, Salau Madibbo, commended the students Union under the leadership of the Senate president, Francis Anzaku, for their commitment towards keeping a positive record in the school just as he presented a certificate of service to the senate president, and award to the former VC Mohammed Akaro Mainoma and the University Information and protocol officer, Abraham Ekpo.
