Nwachukwu tops the authentic list of Statutory Delegates from Abia Ahead of the APC National Convention

Ex-member of the 6th Abia State House of Assembly and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Hon Chijioke Emmanuel Nwachukwu (KSC), has topped the authentic list of names of Statutory delegates from Abia ahead of the March 26th National Convention of the governing APC in Nigeria.
It will be recalled earlier that Hon Chijioke Nwachukwu who represented Umuahia south state constituency at the Abia Assembly also formed the Sub-committee member list of the party for the forthcoming National Convention designated in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
However, the latest authentic list of names of Statutory delegates from Abia, for the convention was contained in a letter signed and addressed to the National Chairman, Caretaker Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), by the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate and former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
The detailed letter was sighted by our correspondent on Tuesday in Abuja.
Others who formed the authentic list include, Hon Chukwu Chijioke, current minority leader of the Assembly, a former member who represented Bende south constituency, Hon Chibuzor Solomon Okogbuo, and former minority leader, Hon Ikedi Ezekwesiri.
According to Senator Kalu in the letter which partly read, “the authentic list of the statutory delegates it to forestall a situation where there will be infiltration and importation of fictitious names and designations by some overzealous party men”.
Meanwhile, the former Abia lawmaker, Hon Chijioke Nwachukwu, has lauded the leadership of the APC at all levels in the country for their unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the party.
He made the commendation during interactive sessions with select journalists in Umuahia, the state capital on Tuesday.
The Ubakala Umuahia-born APC Stalwart reassured Abians and entire citizens of Nigeria of the party’s unshaken commitment and continued dedication to deepening democracy in the country through formulation and implementation of policies and Programmes to enhance the welfare of the people, as well as, the socio-economic and Infrastructural development of all facets of the country.
Hon Nwachukwu confided that the governing party in Nigeria would continue to consolidate on its internal democracy mechanism, and tremendous gains were recorded in the development of all sectors of the nation’s economy.
