Ogah tasks Abia women on lending voices on government policies.

Ngozi Uche Ogah, the wife of the Nigerian Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, has encouraged women in the society to continue to raise their voices and demands of the government even as she reminded them to sustain their building efforts irrespective of the challenges they’re currently facing while upholding the priceless values of the authentic Abia woman.
Mrs. Ogah, encouraged when she hosted an enlarged meeting of indigent women of Abia state at her country home, Onuaku, Uturu in the Isiukwato Local government area of the state during the weekend.
She also maintained the continuing need and importance of prayer and impressed on the Abia women never to abandon communion with God through prayer even as she insisted that prayer remains the greatest support any woman can give to her husband and children including those in authority as with prayer even the walls of Jericho was broken and God’s children were set free from the chains of enslavements.
On his part, the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uche Sampson Ogah, who later joined the Abia women during the meeting, also expressed profound gratitude to the Abia women for their meeting, assuring them that their doors are always open for mothers and women of Abia state.
Also on their part, the Abia women commended Ngozi Uche Ogah for her immense to the welfare of women of Abia state, describing the Minister’s wife as a metaphor and quintessence of humanity.
The event, according to a press statement made available to newsmen in Umuahia, the state capital on Monday, featured an interactive session with the women where they tabled their individual challenges, concerns and expectations from the government especially at the state level.
The statement said, “the wife of the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Mrs Ngozi Uche Ogah splashed quantum largesse comprising food items, top quality clothing, condiments and starter packs for entrepreneurship to mothers and indigene women of Abia state.
