The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Gregory Obi has been advised to return home and extinguish the fire currently burning his state as result of unabated killing by unknown gunmen and the resurface of 2022 flooding where several people people were killed and many rendered homeless.

Omokri, an ally of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan slammed the presidential candidate of Labour Party, for his decision to suspend his campaign in honour of flood victims, saying it’s hypocritical and just for clout.

Omokri in his tweet, “Unknown gunmen have made Anambra a killing field. Peter Obi does NOTHING. FIRE is burning in Peter Obi’s own state and he is focused on the WATER in other peoples states. Or does he want to gather water from the flooded states to quench the fire in his own state?”

Globaltimesnigeria.com reports that Peter Obi had been to some States of the federation on empathy visit over the resurface flood causing an untold hardship to the citizens of those affected areas.

It was also reported that Obi had also been to Benue State where he donated 5 million naira as part of his contribution to floods IDPs victims.
