A chieftain of the governing party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Kogi state, Hon. Andrew Onu Adama has felicitated with the state executive Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Christian community, and Kogites on this year’s Christmas celebration
In a statement issued to newsmen in Lokoja, Hon Adama said, ”on this happy occasion of Christmas. Christians and non christians alike are called upon to reflect on the mystery of the salvation which started with the birth of Jesus Christ and which culminated in His death and resurrection.
Andrew Adama explained that this moment of yuletide period calls for celebration,but more importantly it offers the followers of Christ an ample opportunity to live life of charity and peace which formed the base of Christ’s teaching, saying that it is equally a season to remember the poor amongst us”.
”let’s us all reach out and touch somebody else in a positive way and give a hand to the less privileged that they may rise and walk with us which is the reason for the season”.
He tasked Nigerians especially Kogites to embrace the tenets of love, unity and peaceful co-existence that the period symbolises, urging the citizens to seize the moment to reach out to other fellow Kogites who are in need of help.
Hon Andrew Onu Adama who hailed from Okura State constituency of Dekina local government area further admonished the populace in the spirit of the season to continue to extend a hand of love, benevolence and live as one family irrespective of faiths.
He tap the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his principal on the back for his administration’s results oriented , progressive, and impressive performance in delivering human and infrastructural development to all nooks and crannies of the state that are empirical for all eyes to attest to it.
