“Our Choices Determine Our Future, Make The Right Choice Today” – Elkanah Glen

Christians have been called upon to be careful while making choices to enable them secure a better future.
Mr. Elkanah Glen, made the call
in a sermon at the EYN Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, Lokongoma – Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
He noted that men are where they are today as a result of the the choices made in the past, stressing that the future of men will be determined by the choices made today.
Mr. Glen who spoke on the topic “The Power of Choice” explained that God has given man free will to make choices, urging men to always have a rethink before taking decisions.
“As human, on daily basis we are confronted with pull of options and whether we like it or not, we must take decision and the choices we eventually make will have consequences on our future either positively or negatively
“God has the power to make everyone righteous but He decided to give man the freedom to decide whether to be righteous or not, that’s to tell us how powerful our choices can be”
Mr. Elkanah Glen, while commenting on those in positions of authority and those aspiring to lead, enjoined them to always have the masses at heart in decision making, stressing that there was need for them to make choices that will benefit the downtroddens.
He added that all men will one day give account of their stewardship, urging those in positions of power to allow the fear of God rule their heart while carrying out their responsibilities to enable them have good records with God and with men.
