Police Arrest PDP Rep, Farah Dagogo, ‘Thugs’ On Wike’s order

Political uncertainty currently playing out in Rivers State involving the Governor and other stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, over who becomes what in 2023 elections.

The Police in Rivers State have arrested a member of the House of Representatives, Farah Dagogo.

Dagogo is a governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The lawmaker and “political thugs” were declared wanted on Wednesday by Governor Nyesom Wike.

Wike accused Dagogo of sending “cultists” to disrupt the screening of aspirants at the PDP State Secretariat in Port Harcourt.

Dagogo denied that he had a hand in the incident, accusing the Governor of lying and bullying.

He urged the police to arrest and investigate Efeturi Irikefe, “Camp Commandant to the Governor” for his actions at the PDP office.

A report in the Daily Post confirmed that Dagogo is in the custody of the Rivers State Police Command in Port Harcourt.
