The Chairman Toto local government traditional council of chiefs, and paramount ruler of Umaisha (Opanda Kingdom) HRH. Alhaji Usman Abdullahi has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing governorship and state house of assembly elections where he specifically rated the process high.
The first class monarch gave the assertion on Saturday shortly after he cast his vote at Galadima A polling unit Palace open space Uamisha, said Governor Abdullahi Sule and Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly’s passion for development aided the massive turnout of electorates in the area.
According to the Monarch, the impact of this present administration is too numerous for one to ignored such as security, infrastructure and ongoing industrialization in the area.
He said Governor Sule and Speaker Balarabe deserved more term owing to their commitments to the development of Toto LG and state as a whole.
Ohimegye who is the custodian of the people commended voters for their patience, perseverance and heeding to their call to support development and peaceful coexistence.
“As you can see I have voted in my unit here Galadima A polling unit without hitches, I must commended INEC officials for early distribution of logistics to various polling.”
“I have no doubt in my mind that the election will be peaceful, orderly, free, fair and credible.”
He advised the candidates contesting today election to embrace each others because power is ordained by the Almighty Allah. He said.
Global Times Nigeria reports that Ohimegye Opanda voted around 9:10 and was accompanied by his family and aides.
