The Agaba of Jiwa chiefdom in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Idris Musa, said the senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda has always recieved right from when he started contesting for the houss of representative for AMAC /Bwari constituency.
Alhaji Musa, stated this when he received senator Aduda and his campaign team led by the Director General (DG) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar for FCT, Mr Ezikel Dalhatu Musa at his palace in Jiwa on Tuesday.
“I can recall when you were contesting for the house of representative seat for AMAC /Bwari constituency, your mother came to me and asked me to bless, in which I did. And right from then, you have always been here to seek for my blessing which I always obliged, “he said.
He said some other politicians also came to him to seek for blessing from him, which he said he also obliged them, even as he described Senator Aduda as a leader that has the people of FCT at heart.
According to him, the Jiwa chiefdom was quite impressed with the good representation of Senator Aduda, especially in the area of infrastructures such as construction of classrooms, rural roads, youth and women empowerment, sinking of boreholes and among others.
The monarch, therefore, wished Senator Aduda success during Saturday election, even as he advised supporters against causing trouble during the campaign and on election day if they truly love Aduda.
Responding, Senator Aduda appreciated the monarch and members of his traditional council for their continuous support to him, even as he noted that Jiwa has always being his home since he has a traditional title at the palace.
He informed the monarch that he has always ensured that the good people of Jiwa chiefdom have access to viable infrastructures.
Aduda, who also distributed brand new motorcycles to some district heads in the chiefdom, saying the motorcycles will ease their movement in the area of discharging their responsibilities.
