On Thursday, 29 December, 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) was hosted by Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. The President who was in the State to commission several projects across the three senatorial districts of the State.
On arriving Lokoja, the State capital, President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the presidential lodge and some high-tech security vehicles.
In his speech, he said, “I would love to give you more money to keep up what you are doing.” The governor responded, “Thank you sir.”
The chief Press Secretary to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, Onogwu Muhammed in his live video noted that Governor Yahaya Bello has keen interest in the state’s security which was why he provided the new high-tech security vehicles.
While Buhari also commissioned the Governor Yahaya Bello Model Science Secondary school, the first flyover in the state named Ganaja Flyover and the Muhammadu Buhari Square.
While in Central region, Ebira land, President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the new palace of the king of Ebira land, the Okene Reference hospital and the Agassa Road.
Other projects executed by Governor Yahaya Bello such as rice mill factory, road networks, school buildings and other gigantic projects are scatter all over the State.
