The presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party, SDP Prince Adewole Adebayo has urged the Muslim faithful to use this medium to pray for the Nation.

Adewole who made the call on his social media handle noted that the month of Ramadan is sacred which is paramount in the lives of Muslims. According to him, with the current situation of the country, there is no better time to pray and commit the country to the hands of God than this time.

He further asked Nigerians to be more committed to building a just, fair society where development can strive

“ In this holy month of Ramadan, let us note that self-denial by way of fasting is a metaphor for spiritual sacrifice, a down payment on our faith in expectations of divine mercy and blessings of Allah SWT. May we be so committed to building a just, fair society. Pray for Nigeria ” he said
