A former All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Representatives Aspirant for Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency of Delta State, Chief Mathias Efe Olowu has filed a petition of Corruption, Criminal Breach of Trust, and Conversion of 1.5 Million Naira against Gubernatorial Candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru and one Mr. John Enakiredu.

Chief Olowu in an interview with Newsmen said he submitted the petition to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), to help investigate Mr. John Enakiredu and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, who collected the sum of One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira from him for the promise of House Representatives Nomination/Interest Form for the Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency in the just concluded Primaries of the Party in Delta State.
The Activist expressed dismay that the said form was not given to him as promised while the bank draft of the money paid was nowhere to be found.
The traditional title holder in the State pointed out that the actions of the aforementioned members of the society who are supposed to serve as exemplary leaders have further depended on distrust in some politicians, calling on the EFCC to do her best by carrying out a thorough investigation to find the said missing Bank draft and ascertain why the forms were not issued to him after payment.
“Great Ogboru is somebody I held with high esteem before now, but his recent activities have made me question his integrity

“I have never seen a situation where someone will pay for an item and such will not be given after payment, I classify such as fraud in my definition
“Since we have a body saddled with the responsibility of handling such cases, I submitted petitions against Ogboru and he accompany the EFCC to do a thorough investigation,” he said.
Chief Mathias pointed out that he has made sacrifices in the interest of the people, promising to do all things legally to ensure fairness, equity and justice without fear.
