Senator Aduda condoles ex-Gwagwalada vice chair over father’s death.

 

The Senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Sunday, paid a condolence visit to the immediate family of the former vice chairman of Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Mohammed Kasim Ikwa, over the demised of his father, Baba Maman.

Ikwa, is also a traditional title holder as the (Wakilin Zuba) chiefdom and the chairmanship candidate of the council on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during the just concluded council election.

Aduda, who was accompanied by his senior legislative aide, Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed, who is also the deputy national Auditor of the PDP and the state PDP organizing secretary, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, as well as some top aides of the senate minority leader.

He prayed for the repose soul of the deceased and begged Almighty God to grant the deceased and eternal rest in paradise.

He also prayed for peace and unity in the FCT and across the country, while he urged all Nigerians to be God fearing, urging them to also continue to pray for the country to overcome security challenges.

Aduda, however, admonished Alhaji Kasimu’s family members to always pray for the life of their late father who on good authority lives a life of philanthropic, service to humanity, compassion to man, which he said were all worthy of emulation.

He also reiterated the need for every individual to conduct themselves in accordance to the dictates and teachings of God almighty, which he said is the supreme ruler of the universe.

The senate minority leader, further prayed for Almighty God to forgive the deceased shortcomings and admit him in paradise.

“And I also prayed for God almighty to give the entire family members of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost,” he said.
